Grievances

Grievance Procedure

  1. A parent or guardian who wishes to express a concern should discuss the matter with the school employee involved.
  2. If the individual is unable to resolve a problem or concern with the employee, the individual is required to call or meet with the Principal (or designee) to resolve the problem or concern. The complainant and the Principal (or designee) will both make a good faith effort to resolve the issue.
  3. If the complainant is dissatisfied with the outcome of the problem-solving process with the Principal (or designee) file a written complaint with the superintendent/designee through the following form. The Superintendent/designee will evaluate the complaint and render a written decision within 10 working days after receiving the complaint.

(Complaints against a principal may be filed with the superintendent/designee. The superintendent/designee will attempt to resolve the complaint.)
