Student Technology
We are excited to share that beginning in the 2025–26 school year, Legacy Traditional Schools will implement a 1:1 technology model for students across all campuses in Arizona, Texas and the North Valley campus in Nevada. This initiative is designed to support instructional excellence, increase student access to digital tools, and enhance classroom efficiency and flexibility. Equipping Legacy students with essential technology skills, this initiative prepares them for success in high school, college, and careers while keeping them competitive with evolving educational technology trends.

Students will be provided with Chromebooks based on their grade level:
- Grades K-2: One COW (computer on wheels) cart will be provided for every three classrooms.
- Grades 3-5: Each student will be assigned a dedicated Chromebook that will remain on campus in their classroom.
- Grades 6-8: Each student will receive a Chromebook to take home for school-related use.
As we approach the 2025-26 school year, we will provide additional details and information on how Chromebooks will be used in the classroom and the expectations of both students and parents in using and maintaining the devices. There will be no cost to families to use the devices. However, for students in grades 6-8, there will be optional insurance available for parents to purchase to avoid costs related to repair or replacement.
Additionally, parents of students in grades 6-8 will be required to sign a Student Laptop Agreement acknowledging responsibility for the Chromebook. There will also be software and security measures in place for students when using the device both on and off campus to ensure safe and appropriate use.
